Hello everyone! Thanks to reaching the 'Extra Plus Golden' donation milestone (thank you all!), we're excited to announce the first-ever NON-EXCLUSIVE AMV Awards contest by AMV-France, along with a prize ceremony following last year's event!
Rules
There is no set theme – let your creativity flow!The AMV must be at least 1 minute and 30 seconds long.The AMV is NOT exclusive to this contest.Accepted video containers: AVI, MP4, MKV, MPEG, MPEG2, WMV.AMV, GMV, and M@D are allowed.Plagiarism is strictly prohibited!Your video must not exceed 500 MB or have a maximum bitrate of 30 Mb/s, unless a valid reason is provided.Your video should have no logos or subtitles (unless they are part of the concept).All videos must have a direct and clear connection to animation. Game footage is also allowed. It is permissible to mix these visuals with non-animated sources (drawings, 3D, etc.). Any entries that raise questions will undergo validation to determine if the video qualifies as an AMV.
Submission Rules : Participants may submit multiple entries/MEPs.
You’re also free to submit up to two solo entries and participate in one MEP or submit up to three MEP entries per person:
Combo 1 = Solo + Solo + MEPCombo 2 = Solo + MEP + MEPCombo 3 = MEP + MEP + MEP
Video Submission
Entries must be submitted via FTP. Login details will be sent by email once your registration is validated. A tutorial on how to use FTP is available here.Please name your file as follows: Nickname_-_The_Title.mp4 (or mkv, avi...).The submission deadline is December 29, 2024.
Additional Information and Contact
The top 10 entries will be streamed during the AMV Awards live show on the AMV-France channel, from 10th place down to the winner.
The jury will consist of three members. Additionally, the contest organizer, who will post the AMVs/MEPs on YouTube, will not participate in the contest nor be part of the judging panel.
A Public Choice award will be decided by a vote on the AMV-France website.
